Job description

Job Summary


The Roustabout position is responsible for supporting oilfield operations. The position is diverse and may vary on a daily basis. The Roustabout works with equipment they are qualified to operate such as hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment. This position requires the ability to work in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions.The position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Titan's Mission and Core Values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Perform facility construction
  • Secure and safely transport equipment according to DOT regulations
  • Install and make repairs to oil and produced water tanks, including confined space entry
  • Perform general cleanup duties on well site locations and/or at the facility
  • Operate high pressure power washing equipment
  • Install and repair piping, valves, pumps, and motors
  • Set well equipment at well locations which include cement pads and pumping units
  • Install and repair pipelines; Haul pipe and rods
  • Responsible for tie-down of pumping units and installing counter weights for balancing pumping units
  • General site location maintenance of ground and buildings
  • Assist with clean-up of oil spills
  • Assemble or repair equipment using hand and power tools
  • Operate backhoes, skid steers or other moving or lifting equipment
  • Walk flow lines to locate leaks, make visual inspections and repair leaks
  • Perform flow testing/flow back duties
  • Work and commit to a company-wide culture that ensures that Safety is everybody's business
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of oil and gas operations experience preferred.
  • Experience working as laborer, including proficiency with all types of tools and equipment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion and passing of company drug screen, background check and fit test.
  • Must be willing and able to work in a field environment in all weather conditions and noisy environments; Must have the ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials and manipulating things.
  • Requires ability for sitting, standing, walking, lifting heavy materials, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs & ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, crawling, reaching high and low;This is a Physically demanding position
  • Must be willing and able to work as needed on a 24/7 basis; Travel to field required daily.
