Service Technician

Location:Grand Prairie, TX

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Service Technician to join our team in Grand Prairie. This role is responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of fuel system equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work independently in the field while delivering high-quality service and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair, replace, and install 12V and 110V fuel pumps
  • Service and maintain air-operated and pneumatic pumps
  • Repair and install fuel-related equipment including meters, nozzles, hoses, and accessories
  • Install and service tank monitoring systems and fuel management systems
  • Repair and install tank piping, stingers, fill lines, and vent systems
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical issues related to fuel systems
  • Service Gasboy equipment and other related fuel dispensing systems
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Pick up, deliver, and relocate spill berms and related equipment
  • Respond to and manage customer inquiries in a professional manner
  • Ensure timely completion of service work and meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and service documentation
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Grand Prairie, TX
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical or "Fit for Duty" exam
  • Ability to pass a driving test with a utility trailer
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and climb tanks up to 40 feet
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and occasional travel
  • Reliable attendance and stable work history
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, and professionalism

  • Experience working with fuel systems or fuel equipment
