The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and clinical operations. As a Physical Therapist at ProActive Physical Therapy, you will:

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality through evidence-based practices.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and tailored activities that promote physical well-being and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients on body mechanics, appropriate exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to reinforce their recovery efforts.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot/cold therapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, keeping detailed records of treatment outcomes, range of motion, and strength gains.
• Ensure treatment areas are well-prepared and that all equipment is organized and readily available before therapy sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to foster a positive therapeutic relationship and motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain adherence to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respecting their rights at all times.

You will be working with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those with chronic pain conditions, elderly patients requiring rehabilitation, and athletes striving to return to their pre-injury levels of performance. Your role is crucial in crafting personalized rehabilitation plans that consider each patient's specific circumstances, enabling them to regain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
