This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Quincy, Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents by reviewing available information and performing thorough functional evaluations to identify need areas.
  • Incorporate standardized assessment tools into the evaluation process to gauge residentsโ€™ capabilities and needs in home, vocational, and equipment usage.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with residents' specific needs and establish attainable functional goals, underpinned by best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding evaluation, treatment processes, and progress notes in residents' records for compliance and continuous care improvement.
  • Revise treatment plans regularly in response to residents' evolving needs and document these changes clearly, ensuring ongoing progress towards goals.
  • Prepare and deliver clear discharge summaries that encapsulate the treatment course and future recommendations.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate care, adapting strategies to maximize residentsโ€™ functional abilities.
  • Supervise occupational therapy assistants during treatment procedures to ensure effective execution and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Guide residents through orientation to program services and explain treatment procedures while addressing any potential risks involved.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, strokes, traumatic injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and current Occupational Therapy license/certification in Massachusetts.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
