Work Environment

The Occupational Therapist position at Motion Mastery Wellness is primarily onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, which is designed to facilitate effective healing and rehabilitation. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring the therapist to engage with a diverse population of residents recovering from various conditions, including stroke, orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, and more. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate resident information and assess its impact on the treatment process, ensuring that evaluations are thorough and accurate.
  • Conduct functional assessments using standardized procedures, while addressing the need for home and vocational modifications and adaptive equipment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include achievable goals based on each resident's unique needs and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines; maintain accurate departmental records in a timely manner.
  • Document progress after each treatment session, revising treatment plans as necessary to adapt to resident development and feedback.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive discharge summaries that reflect the course of treatment and recommend follow-up care.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants during treatment sessions and provide guidance on therapeutic procedures.
  • Orient residents to program services, treatment procedures, and educate them on potential risks, enhancing their understanding and comfort.
  • Work closely with nursing staff, residents, and their families to maximize functional abilities and support holistic recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse clientele, including older adults recovering from strokes, individuals with physical disabilities, and those with chronic conditions requiring rehabilitative support. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Ability to establish rapport with residents, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Competence in assessing resident needs and developing comprehensive care plans that meet those needs.

Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility, particularly serving similar patient demographics.

  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Compensation and Benefits

Motion Mastery Wellness offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
