Position Overview

Northridge Therapeutic Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our supportive team. Our salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, reflective of your qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a diverse range of mental health challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of clients, with a focus on achieving measurable treatment outcomes.
• Act as a leader for mobile response teams when needed, coordinating with first responders to deliver effective crisis intervention and stabilization services.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans that guide effective therapy.
• Facilitate referrals to necessary external services, including case management and specialized aftercare programs, to ensure a continuum of care.
• Stay updated on community resources and develop a network of contacts to provide clients with comprehensive support.
• Document client progress and administrative tasks in adherence to best practices and compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals and families grappling with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Understanding the unique challenges faced by adolescents and adults within the Harrisburg community will enable you to tailor your approach effectively, respecting the diverse backgrounds and experiences of your clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted licenses as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A minimum of 2 years of applicable clinical experience, demonstrating your skilled approach to therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional clinical judgment with the ability to assess and address mental health disorders efficiently.
• Knowledge of adolescent development, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders is critical for effective engagement.
• Proficiency with telehealth technologies and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing crisis intervention and working with emergency response services.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while managing multiple cases effectively.
