Job description

The University of Rochester is offering an exceptional opportunity for an ABR certified/eligible MSK Radiologist. This role involves interpreting 100% sub-specialty MSK Radiology using advanced technology and performing image-guided procedures. The position offers a W2 work arrangement with comprehensive benefits, including a competitive base salary and additional incentives. Practice Info

  • Only Level 1 Trauma Center in the region
  • New Advanced Orthopedics Center including advanced imaging (CT, MRI, US), an ambulatory surgery center, physical therapy, and a state-of-the-art outpatient clinical tower
  • Practice environment utilizes EPIC/Sectra/PowerScribe
  • 24/7 Internal Communication desk to place and receive provider calls
  • Resident first call for technologist questions and protocols
  • 24/7 IT support
  • Suite of AI integrated tools, AIDOC

Responsibilities

  • Interpret 100% sub-specialty MSK Radiology using the latest technology in Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, Radiography, Conventional CT, Cone Beam CT, Dual Energy CT, MRI, and US
  • Perform and supervise fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided joint injections, joint aspirations, and CT and MRI arthrography
  • Collaborate closely with Orthopedic, Pathology, and Rheumatology Departments
  • Participate in interdepartmental conferences and tumor boards
  • Actively engage in the education of medical students, diagnostic radiology residents, orthopedic residents, and MSK fellows

Compensation

  • Base salary $475,000-$525,000
  • Additional compensation in form of clinical and non-clinical incentives
  • Optional internal "moonlighting"
  • $25K Retention bonus with 3-year commitment
  • Part-time compensation pro-rated proportionately
