Position Title: Home Delivery Assistant (Newspaper Delivery)

Status: Full-time (30+ hours)

Salary: $20/hr. + .62/mile - $500 bonus after 90 days of employment

Hours: Must be available Sunday - Friday, approx. 1 am - 7 am (30+ hours/week).

About this role: This position serves to assist with newspaper delivery, complaints, and customer service supporting distribution centers and district managers.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver newspaper routes when contractors are unavailable using a personal vehicle
  • Prepare and submit a weekly log of hours and mileage
  • Assist with the delivery of special products
  • Assist District Manager with customer and/or carrier calls as well as daily office tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll contribute to our team:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license, personal reliable vehicle, and proof of car insurance
  • Ability to read a street map/GPS
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions
