Full-Stack Developer


Job Summary

The Full-Stack Developer will specialize in the Rock RMS platform to lead the technical management and customization of the church management system. He or she will not just be a coder, but a problem-solver who can translate ministry needs into technical solutions that improve the experience for the staff and congregation. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT related field required

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience developing, testing, and deploying scalable full-stack applications in a collaborative development environment
  • Experience with on-premisehosting and management(Proxmox/virtualization, CEPH, virtual routing/switching) preferred
  • Experience with REST APIs preferred

Certifications / Licenses

  • None required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language

  • Integration: Manage and develop API integrations between Rock RMS and third-party software (e.g., payment processors, communication tools, or accounting software)
  • UI/UX Optimization: Customize the look and feel of the Rock interface and external-facing portals using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
