Overview

Neonatologist Opportunity in the California Bay Area

Responsibilities

Seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our well-established practice at Good Samarian Hospital in San Jose, CA.

  • Level III NICU with an average daily census of 18 - 20 and has 40 - 50 VLBW admits per year.
  • Two neonatologists in the NICU during the day.
  • In addition to our affiliated group of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists and Ob Hospitalists, there is good pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery.
  • Services provided include high frequency ventilation, body cooling and iNO is available.
  • There is an active maternal and neonatal transport program.
  • The hospital is a Regional Perinatal Center and is certified by California Children's Services as a Level-III NICU and as a Neonatal Surgery Center.
  • The practice belongs to the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative and participates in Pediatrix QI programs as well as other projects in collaboration with academic institutions.
