Job Overview

Gulfstream Park is seeking a talented Graphic Designer & Animator with a modern mindset and approach to support various creative campaigns. This individual should be skilled in all aspects of design (input/output, promotional materials, website visuals, social media, etc) and experienced in brand identity. Be prepared to develop fresh concepts and ideas and create relevant and meaningful work.

This is a full-time, in-office position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conceptual development of designs that support marketing strategies and advance overall brand strategy.
  • Facilitate creatives from concept to completion, in a wide range of graphic applications including collateral materials, on-site flyers/posters, environmental graphics, brand identity for print, online, social media, and television media.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritizes accordingly.
  • Uphold quality design standards and brand integrity.
  • Work closely with the department to generate creative ideas and concepts that support overall campaign goals.
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layouts/mockups of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics.
  • Adept at finding creative solutions quickly.
  • Curate digital and print assets through meticulous file organization.
  • Create digital mock-ups and retouch photos for use in collateral.
  • Prepare final packaging files for print and production.
  • Utilize large format and modern office equipment to print, trim, and deliver necessary materials across departments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of working design experience, including animation and motion graphics.
  • Thorough knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, and graphic design for an array of placements including online, digital, social media, print, and out of home.
  • Thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, some within tight deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment alongside a variety of people and personalities.
  • Efficient in operating modern office equipment to facilitate printing, cutting, laminating, and distribution of various on-property creative materials.
  • Able to work occasional weekends and holidays according to the needs of business.
