We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven MRO(Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Sales Specialist to support inventorycontrol and supply management at strategic customer sites in the Indianapolis, IN area. This role is critical to maintaining efficient on-site operations,ensuring part availability, and strengthening our long-term partnershipsthrough consistent, high-quality service. It also offers a strong foundationfor individuals interested in transitioning into a technical outside salespath-providing exposure to customer-facing operations, product knowledge, andsolution-based selling in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Oversee and maintaininventory, stock, and supply at customer storeroom locations.

Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main point ofcontact for key customers, ensuring consistent communication and exceptionalservice.

Business Development: Understand customermaintenance schedules to identify new business opportunities and negotiatecommercial terms to expand onsite stockroom utilization.

Sales Collaboration: Work closely with outsidesales and inside support teams to identify opportunities, coordinatequotations, and follow up on leads.

Reporting: Utilize company platforms(e.g., Salesforce) to manage and report all business and sales activities.

Safety: Adhere to and respect safetyrequirements at each customer site.

Prospecting: Continually seek newbusiness within existing customer locations and assist with introductory salescalls for new account leads.

Administrative Duties: Meet deadlines for customerneeds and complete required administrative tasks.

Work Environment & PhysicalDemands:

Exposure to mechanical parts,fumes, airborne particles, and varying noise levels at customer sites.

Active role requiring standing,walking, bending, kneeling, and occasional sitting for extended periods.

Visual acuity forclose/distance/color/peripheral vision and depth perception

Additional Information.

Occasional overnight travel may berequired, primarily during business hours.

Limited supervisory responsibilityrelated to projects and customer relations.
