We're looking for a Floor Manager in the Sales Department who thrives in a high-energy, customer-focused environment and wants to lead a team that sells freedom, not just motorcycles.
Position Summary
The Floor Manager is responsible for managing the sales floor, assisting the sales team with closing deals, presenting F&I (Finance and Insurance) products when needed, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
This role involves a commitment to coaching sales associates, supporting negotiations, and maintaining Harley-Davidson brand standards. You'll be the go-to leader for driving sales performance and creating a dynamic environment for the Bay Area motorcycle community.
Responsibilities
• Sales Leadership & Deal Support
• Actively assist sales associates in closing deals and overcoming objections.
• Present and explain F&I products, including financing options, extended service plans, and insurance.
• Ensure proper customer engagement and adherence to sales processes.
• Monitor daily sales activity and provide guidance to meet targets.
• Customer Experience
• Maintain a welcoming, professional, and high-energy environment.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote cross-selling of Parts, Accessories, Financing, and Service Plans.
• Team Development
• Provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback to sales staff.
• Help train new hires on Harley-Davidson sales procedures
• Report team performance to the General Sales Manager.
Operational Excellence
• Monitor CRM activity for lead follow-up and prospecting.
• Assist with inventory management and floor merchandising.
• Ensure showroom displays meet Harley-Davidson brand guidelines.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of motorcycle or automotive sales experience; Harley-Davidson experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or dealership setting.
• Strong communication, coaching, and closing skills.
• Ability to present and sell F&I products effectively.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a motorcycle endorsement.
