CNCPROGRAMMER
The CNCProgrammer & Machinist at ARCH will play an important role in creating parts that are visually stunning. We are looking for someone thatknows how to manipulate programs and tools to accomplish uniquetoollines and finishes. All components are made in smallbatches, careful planning and execution are vital to successofthis position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • UseGibbsCam /Fusion 360 CAD/CAM/CAE to program CNC parts.
  • Oversee the write, rewrite and optimization all of programs.
  • Maintain revision control of programs and setup sheets.
  • Knowledgeable of carbide tools, adjusting speed and feedparameters for maximum tool life.
  • Design and machinefixtures for parts.
  • Create a strategy for programming / tooling / fixturing for any new parts.
  • Identify how tobetter optimize programs to reduce optimes.
  • Performprogramoverlays as needed to confirm revisions are upto date.
  • Ensureproduction goals are efficiently met.
  • Ableto setup and probe parts with a RENISHAW probe.
  • Communicate withmanagement and other team members in a professional manner.
  • Prove out new programs and ops, troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise from current operations.
  • Provide support for the machine shop to set up or swap parts being machined, extending shop production hours.

Requirements
BASICQUALIFICATIONS:
  • Highschooldiploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Understanding andable to write G CODE.
  • Setup of parts on themachine.
  • 4+ years ofCNC programming experience with GibbsCam, FusionorMasterCam.

PREFERRED SKILLS ANDEXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with 4 and 5axis CNC mill machines
  • Experiencewith CNClathe machine.
  • Experiencewithprobing parts
  • Familiarwith HAAS machines is a plus
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus

ADDITIONALREQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift 25lbs. unassisted
  • Lifting,standing, climbing, bending, grasping,sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, andcarrying are generally required to perform thefunctions of this position
  • Able towork M-F 9a-6p
  • This is anhourly position
