Mortgage Recruiter – Executive Team.
Remote | Full-Time (W2) or Contract (1099).
Semper Home Loans, a direct lender licensed in 42 states, is seeking an experienced and driven Mortgage Recruiter to join our executive team. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and HR Director, this role is a high-impact position responsible for fueling our growth by attracting, engaging, and onboarding top-performing loan officers and branch managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to directly shape the future of a growing national lender.
What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for candidates from recruitment campaigns and evaluate their fit.
  • Proactively source talent through outbound recruiting efforts, including direct outreach to loan officers and branch managers.
  • Collect and manage candidate information through branch and loan officer questionnaires.
  • Partner with HR to develop customized term sheets, compensation structures, and onboarding plans.
  • Coordinate contract distribution, licensing setup in NMLS, and ensure compliance throughout the process.
  • Provide recruits with pricing scenarios using Optimal Blue and collaborate with Secondary on margin strategies.
  • Support new hires with loan submissions and align resources based on their business model.
  • Stay up to date on investor programs, industry shifts, and competitor trends.
  • Work closely with Processing to ensure a seamless transition and onboarding experience.
  • Oversee onboarding progress, track production pipelines in Encompass, and support long-term retention.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–7 years of mortgage industry experience.
  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within the mortgage or financial services sector.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches at once.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results independently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with Optimal Blue and Encompass strongly preferred.
