Seasons Supermarkets is one of the largest kosher supermarket chains in the nation. At present, there are nine Seasons locations across the Tri-State area with plans to expand. Seasons offers its customers a full-service kosher shopping experience where everyone, including its highly dedicated associates, is treated like family.
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Full-time Morning Shift Deli Counter Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in preparing and serving deli items while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked department during morning hours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in deli operations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Please note that the schedule for this position is from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve deli items including sliced meats, cheeses, sandwiches, wraps, and platters.
Operate deli slicing machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Weigh, label, package, and prepare products for customer purchase.
Maintain deli showcases and grab-and-go cases by stocking, rotating, and organizing products.
Ensure freshness and quality of all deli items and remove any products that do not meet standards.
Provide prompt, friendly, and attentive customer service during evening and closing hours.
Perform end-of-day tasks including cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing the department for the next day.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient department operations.
Support additional store operations and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
Prior deli experience required.
Experience operating deli slicers and preparing deli products.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to work the morning shift, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as needed.
