Job description

If you are looking for a team that values you and your career potential, our teams are here to support your growth potential.

tdgFacilities is looking for a full-time Mobile Mechanical / Industrial Equipment Technician in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio to help serve our customers in the region.

Our teams are second to none, and thrive on a culture of balance, teamwork, and delivering results to our community of customers.

Commercial Facilities • Air Compressors • Light Industrial Equipment • General Facility Maintenance

A Mobile, Hands-On Role with Variety of Industries Supported

We’re looking for a versatile, mechanically skilled Mobile Mechanical / Industrial Equipment Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and working across a variety of commercial and light industrial environments. This role specifically includes general mechanical, light electrical, light plumbing, as well as service and maintenance of commercial equipment such as air compressors and compressed-air systems, along with commercial equipment and general facility maintenance. You’ll travel between customer locations, diagnose problems, complete repairs and preventive maintenance, and help keep critical building and operational equipment running.

Schedule: Typically, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (with occasional on-call responsibilities shared within a team rotation).

Pay: $24 to $29 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Your responsibilities will include a broad mix of equipment and facility systems, including:

  • Light industrial equipment and mechanical systems
  • Pumps, motors, bearings, fans, belts, and drive components
  • Commercial appliances and equipment
  • Basic electrical, control, relay, motor, and equipment troubleshooting
  • Commercial doors, hardware, and operators
  • Plumbing fixtures and minor plumbing repairs
  • General carpentry and building repairs
  • Commercial air compressors, compressor preventive maintenance, including oil, filters, belts, separators, drains, and routine service items
  • Troubleshooting compressor operating issues, leaks, pressure problems, excessive temperatures, and abnormal operation
  • Compressed-air dryers, filters, regulators, drains, piping, and related components
  • Identifying air leaks and compressed-air system deficiencies
  • Equipment installation and replacement
  • Preventive maintenance and facility inspections

Work on manufacturer-restricted equipment will be performed within the technician's training and qualifications, with specialized service support used when required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial maintenance, industrial maintenance, mechanical service, compressor service, or a related field and is comfortable working independently in customer facilities. Direct experience servicing air compressors or compressed-air equipment is strongly preferred. Experience with brands such as Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Quincy, Sullair, Kaeser, Chicago Pneumatic, or similar commercial compressor equipment is a plus. We're especially interested in technicians who can troubleshoot rather than simply replace parts—people who can assess equipment, identify the likely cause of a problem, determine what can safely be repaired, and communicate when specialized support is required.

BENEFITS

  • Health (Medical/Dental/Vision)
  • Short Term/Long Term Disability
  • Paid Time Off & Holidays
  • 401K
  • Company Vehicle (for delivery of service)
  • Phone Stipend

WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?

You'll work across different facilities, customers, and equipment while developing a broader technical skill set. We’re a company where people look out for the people they work beside. In the trades, that means working safely, sharing what you know, stepping in when a teammate needs a hand, and taking pride in the work we put our name on. We take care of our employees because we know that when good people have the right support, tools, and team behind them, they do great work.

tdgFacilities is full-service facilities management company based in Cincinnati, OH with over 6M square feet under management in OH, IN, KY, TN, GA, AL & FL.
