Haul Truck Driver - STX                                

Location: San Antonio, TX Area (South Texas)
Employment Type: Full-Time

The ideal candidate will perform duties related to the operation of haul trucks to transport material from loading areas to processing areas.

  • Responsible for performing inspections to maximize equipment and tire life and executes assignments from computerized dispatch system and/or two-way radio
  • May also operate other heavy equipment which may include, but is not limited to, water trucks, motor graders, and track and rubber tire dozers
  • Responsible for the safe and skilled performance of the following tasks: spotting at shovel, loading, traveling, dumping on stockpiles, and dumping at crusher
  • Responsible for having operational knowledge of equipment components such as engine, transmission, planetary final drives, main drive line, nose cone assembly, torque converter, differential, and wet disc braking system

To be considered, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Job Requirements

  • Must be willing to work 5 - 6 (12) hour days, overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
  • Must be dependable and report to work on time
  • Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground

Criteria/Condition

  • In-state travel may be required
