The technician conducts inspections, performs troubleshooting, and provides onsite training to maintain system reliability and network availability. By applying technical expertise and collaborating with stakeholders, this role contributes to delivering efficient, compliant, and innovative telecommunications solutions that support business operations and customer needs.

The Telecommunications Technician team is responsible for installing and maintaining data cabling across campus facilities, ensuring reliable network connectivity. They collaborate closely with construction, technology, and planning teams to meet project timelines and quality standards. The team conducts inspections, performs troubleshooting, and supports system upgrades in compliance with technical codes and regulations. Members provide training and share expertise to enhance operational efficiency. What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing and implementing cabling and telecommunication systems, ensuring compliance with technical codes and standards.
  • Inspect supplier installations for contract compliance, perform quality checks, and report issues for timely resolution.
  • Provide onsite training and support to technicians, promoting skill development and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all activities.
