Stanford’s Restaurant and Bar (www.stanfords.com) is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven full-time Host to join our team at our Classic American Steakhouse located in Northgate, Seattle, WA. Pay rate: 

  • $20.76 plus tips 

Responsibilities: 

  • Arrive at work on time and in proper uniform, prepared to execute exceptional shifts. Open the door for guests. 
  • Keep lines from forming at the door. 
  • Answer incoming reservation calls.? 
  • Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.? 
  • Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus.? 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.? 
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.? 
  • Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.? 
  • Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor.? 
  • Bid all guests farewell and invite them back to Stanford’s. 
  • Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the venue manager.? 

Physical demands and work environment:  

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to perform essential job functions. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit.
