Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Premium Night Shift Sign On Bonus: Graduate LPN $3,000 Experienced LPN $4,000 Behavioral Health LPN 36 hours per week, Nights Mercy Hospital Jefferson Festus, MO 63028

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and substance use disorder. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention.

Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited school
  • License: current LPN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, IV Certification within 1 year.
