Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Electrophysiology$10,000 / Two (2) Year Sign On Bonus*Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Electrophysiology - Position Summary

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Electrophysiology serves as an integral member of the cardiovascular care team, providing advanced clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiologic disorders. Working in close collaboration with electrophysiologists and the multidisciplinary team, the APRN delivers comprehensive, evidence-based care across the continuum — from outpatient clinic visits and pre-procedural evaluation to post-procedural follow-up and long-term device management.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) - Electrophysiology - Required Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
  • Current, unencumbered APRN license (NP or CNS) in the state of practice
  • National board certification: FNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, or ACPC-CMC (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology, cardiac ICU, cardiac step-down, or EP setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • DEA registration or eligibility

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) -  Electrophysiology - Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in electrophysiology, device clinic, or cardiac arrhythmia management
  • Cardiac Medicine certification (CMC) through AACN or equivalent EP-focused credential
  • Proficiency in device interrogation for at least one major manufacturer (Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring platforms (Merlin.net, CareLink, Latitude, BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring, MURJ, etc. 
  • Experience with Cerner, Epic, or similar EHR systems
  • Bilingual skills a plus
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) -  Electrophysiology - Safety Sensitive Designation

This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) -  Electrophysiology - Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Primarily outpatient clinic with procedural lab support as needed
  • Occasional on-call responsibilities for urgent device or arrhythmia management questions
  • Ability to stand, sit, and move for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Exposure to fluoroscopy environment — appropriate radiation safety protocols required
  • Use of PPE per departmental and institutional standards
