What is a full time medical scribe?

Full time medical scribes are professionals who assist healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real time during medical examinations or procedures. They enter information into electronic health records (EHRs), ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient data. This allows physicians to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks. Full time medical scribes typically work standard or extended hours alongside their assigned healthcare provider.
