Job Description
This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and oversight of operational models and business analytics platforms. The models and analytics platforms will provide actionable insights to functional teams across all functions of the organization. The position includes defining business opportunities through observing the work being done, working with functional leaders to align on impact and prioritization, developing mathematical models to inform business decisions, translating complex mathematical models into easy to digest and actionable formats/dashboards, and training functional teams on use of the models to ensure adoption that maintains sustainable business results.
Pay Range: $87,000 - $130,000 / annually
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to use numbers and equations to analyze, explain, and simplify complex systems and processes throughout the business
  • Establish the foundational modeling required to implement actionable AI across business operations
  • Create predictive models to forecast impact of changes in volume/equipment/personnel based on actual information
  • Works with functional leaders as well as team members to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for modeling to add value.
  • Owns a portfolio of initiatives including large scale mathematical modeling projects, data analysis projects, and visuals/dashboard requests.
  • Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement, process management, or system thinking (value stream thinking)
  • Develop roadmap to leverage AI in data analytics
  • Implement automation strategies to improve useability of data
  • Implement industry leading practices in data analytics and modeling
  • Collaborate across the organization to champion infrastructure and competencies for data analytics

Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics and/or mathematical modeling
  • 5+ years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or operations environment
  • 3+ years of experience in Python, SQL or C++

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • BI and Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, Google Sheets.
  • Data Tools: Alteryx, Salesforce, Jira, Snowflake.
  • Strong expertise with database applications such as MS Access, or other relational databases very desirable.
  • Expert knowledge of test codes and methods available is helpful.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with others.
  • Advanced data analysis skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats: formal presentations, training material development, meetings, conference calls, e-mails, and memos.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of AI models and development fundamentals

Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, results oriented, and collaborative.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, computer science or mathematics.

Preferred Education:
  • Master's degree in biology, computer science or mathematics.

Required Technical Training:
