Feel Better Marriage Counseling is seeking a committed and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team in a dynamic remote role. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. However, you will also have the opportunity to engage directly with clients in an outpatient office setting when necessary. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to accurately identify clientsโ€™ mental health challenges, strengths, and resources.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's progress and needs.
  • Implement therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to facilitate growth and healing.
  • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans with concrete goals and interventions in collaboration with clients.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and comprehensive approach to treatment.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to ensure alignment on client-centered treatment approaches.
  • Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate patient records.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a varied patient population that includes individuals and families dealing with complex mental health issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds with unique circumstances requiring a tailored approach to therapy. Our goal is to create a safe space where clients feel validated and supported as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various therapeutic practices and modalities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in remote therapy settings and utilizing telehealth platforms.
