Manual Machinist

Position Summary:

Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Manual Machinist to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.

You will assist in the production of heavy industrial cranes using manual machining equipment while ensuring that innovation comes standard with every order.

Responsibilities:

  • Machine components using manual machining equipment
  • Perform machine setups and routine maintenance
  • Ability to work within tight tolerances
  • Use blueprints, sketches, and drawings to machine components
  • Inspect and measure components to ensure correct tolerances are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Will be trained on day shift, then position will turn to afternoon shift

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience working with manual horizontal mills, planer mills, and lathes
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and drawings
  • Ability to use metrological instruments such as micrometers
  • Basic organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift (3:15 PM - 1:45 AM)
