What is a full time manual lathe operator?

Full Time Manual Lathe Operators are skilled tradespeople who operate manual lathes to shape, cut, and finish metal or plastic components according to precise specifications. Unlike CNC operators who use computer-controlled machines, manual lathe operators adjust settings and control the machine by hand, relying on their expertise and attention to detail. These operators typically work in manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shops, producing parts for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and machinery. They are responsible for reading blueprints, measuring workpieces, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the production process.
