Job description

We've recently expanded our Kings Mountain, NC facility and are looking to grow our team! As a Seasoning Machine Operator, you'll help ensure our products are seasoned to perfection while working in a modern, fast-paced environment. Rotating Schedule: Week 1: Monday to Thursday, and Week 2: Monday to Wednesday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and adjust seasoning equipment to meet product specifications.
  • Ensure product quality by monitoring seasoning and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with repairs to keep production moving smoothly.
  • Handle sensitive seasoning products (including allergens) carefully and follow all safety protocols to maintain a zero-accident culture.
  • Follow safety protocols, including handling sensitive ingredients and allergens.
  • Assist with production schedules, communicate with team members, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Fill in for other operators when necessary and assist with training new team members as needed.
  • Ensure that all areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards and procedures.
  • Suggest improvements for processes and production efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Experience operating machinery, performing equipment maintenance, and using general mechanical tools (like Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Ability to carefully monitor and inspect equipment and production to meet quality standards.
  • Able to handle several tasks simultaneously while staying efficient and focused.
  • Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as part of regular duties.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to keep the team well-informed and operations running smoothly.
  • Quick thinker who can respond to changes and resolve issues as they arise.
