Employment Type: Full-time, hourly
Compensation: $18 - $28 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Plymouth, UT
GBI in Plymouth, UT is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Burn Table Operator to join our fabrication team. If you have a strong background in machine operation, overhead crane experience, and a commitment to safety and quality we encourage you to apply and become a part of our team.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures
  • Follow operational instructions outlined by plate processing manager
  • Maintain accurate records of part numbers, job numbers, and cut sheets
  • Keep work area organized, clean, and safe
  • Report any dimensional discrepancies to the plate processing manager or QA/QC team

Requirements
  • Prior experience in operating burn tables preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to operate handheld grinders, overhead cranes, forklifts, be able to read a tape measure, and lift 50 lbs
  • Good communication skills for reporting and coordination
  • Ability to maintain an organized and clean work environment

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods (8-12+ hour shifts)
