Job Title: CNC Operator - Afternoon Shift
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00PM -1:30AM
Location: Mississauga
 
Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking to fill the position of CNC Operator - Glazing, for our day shift. Do you have experience working with equipment such as 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines? Then this is the position for you! In this position you will be working in our Glazing Fabrication department, creating unitized curtainwalls for Flynn's building projects across North America. The position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry in Mississauga. This position will be reporting to the Glazing Production Manager.

A Day in the Life
-Read and interpret drawings machine setup. 
-Work with a variety of CNC Machines, including CNC Milling Machine. 
-Ensure high levels of quality and ensure productivity and on time completion of work orders assigned. 
-Read a Tape Measure to 1/16th " or 1 mm. 
-Program basic equipment, operate machines efficiently and provide continuous quality checks during the process. 
-Effectively use CNC equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot when problems arise. 
-Other duties as assigned.  
 
What You Bring:
         Ability to read a Tape Measure to 1/16th " or 1 mm.
         Ability to confidently read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints.
         Previous experience with CNC equipment and programming basic equipment considered assets.
         Ability to work with a variety of saws, punch press, shears and other pneumatic equipment considered assets.
         Ability to focus on agreed-upon priorities, pay attention to detail that ensures high levels of quality.
         Mechanically inclined, with knowledge & experience of equipment, tool selection, optimum settings, understanding of how things work
         Ability to troubleshoot and attend to issues as they arise.
         Shows interest and willingly strive to learn new skills; take on new assignments as the workload dictates.
$20 - $24 an hour
