Embroidery Machine Operator

Position: Embroidery Machine Operator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Production Manager

Position Summary

Pure Choice Apparel is looking for a reliable and experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to operate our Ricoma 3-head commercial embroidery machine. This position is responsible for setting up and running embroidery jobs, maintaining quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and keeping the machine operating efficiently.

The ideal candidate has commercial embroidery experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced apparel production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the Ricoma 3-head embroidery machine.
  • Set up embroidery jobs, load designs, and properly hoop garments, hats, and other products.
  • Select and change thread colors and needles as needed.
  • Monitor embroidery production and identify issues such as thread breaks, tension problems, registration issues, and stitching errors.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, placement, and design accuracy.
  • Complete assigned jobs according to production schedules and deadlines.
  • Minimize errors, garment waste, and rework.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Communicate production issues, equipment problems, or delays to the Production Manager.
  • Work with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow.
Qualifications
  • Previous commercial embroidery experience preferred.
  • Experience operating multi-head embroidery machines strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Ricoma or comparable commercial embroidery equipment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common embroidery and machine issues.
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle apparel and production materials.
