We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
As a Full-Time LPN at Baker Place, you will function as assistant to the Director of Health and Wellness.

You will play a critical role in delivering excellent patient care in our Assisted Living facility. Your responsibilities will include working alongside our Registered Nurse to provide both direct and indirect patient care, education, and support.

Must be able to work 3 weekdays per week 8:00am-4:30pm, plus every other weekend 6:00am-2:00pm on the medication cart. Ability to pick up shifts if necessary.

Weekdays consist of assisting RN with chart filing, calling physicians, setting up labs/podiatry/eye appointment, etc. Assisting with calls, resident and family questions and concerns, incident reporting, education, and other assigned tasks.

Weekends consist of overseeing clinical duties of HHA/CNA, running the medication cart, administering medications, cart reviews, pharmacy follow-ups and other assigned tasks.

  • articipate in patient assessments and contribute to ongoing evaluations.

  • dhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

  • tay current with nursing best practices and continuing education requirements.

    Qualifications:

  • urrent and valid LPN license in the state of NJ.

  • ompletion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • P
  • revious experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • xcellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • bility to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
