What type of LPN gets paid the most?

In the operating room, LPNs with specialized skills, such as perioperative or surgical LPNs, tend to earn higher wages due to their advanced training and experience. Factors like certifications, years of experience, and working in high-demand or high-acuity environments can also increase pay for LPNs in surgical settings.

How to make an extra $2000 a month as a nurse?

Full Time LPN Operating Room nurses can increase their income by taking on per diem or overtime shifts, which often pay higher rates. Additionally, gaining specialized certifications such as perioperative nursing can qualify them for higher-paying roles or side opportunities like teaching or consulting in the healthcare field.

How to make $150,000 as a nurse?

Full Time LPNs in the operating room can increase their earnings by gaining specialized certifications, such as perioperative nursing certification, and accumulating experience in high-demand surgical settings. Working overtime, taking on leadership roles, or pursuing advanced education like becoming an RN or nurse anesthetist can also help reach higher salary levels, with some professionals earning around $150,000 annually through these pathways.

Can you work in the operating room as an LPN?

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) can work in operating rooms, typically assisting with patient care, preparing supplies, and supporting surgical teams. However, specific duties and eligibility depend on state regulations, hospital policies, and additional certifications or training in perioperative nursing. LPNs must work under the supervision of registered nurses or surgeons in the surgical environment.
