Job Details:

This position is responsible for multiple tasks including receiving orders, loading trucks, and dispatching trucks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. This position pays $17.70/hr.

Job Description

This position is responsible for performing tasks assigned by supervisor that are associated with the day to day.

Working conditions: Must be able to work in all-weather/climate conditions from very cold to very hot and humid. Must be able to work in a dusty environment.

1. Must be ability to read and write in order to receive and document orders
2. Must be ability to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping.
3.Must be ability to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations.
4. Must be ability y to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them.
5. Must be ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day
6. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
7. Must be ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
8. Must be ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
9. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
10. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
11. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
12. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
13. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
14. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
15. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

Experience: 1 year feed mill experience preferred

Special Skills:

1. Basic Math Skills

2. Communication Skills

3. Basic mechanical Skills

4. Basic computer skill

5. Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification

6. Ability to certify as a Weigh Master

7. Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability be clean shaven)

REQUIREMENTS

3-month operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months.

180 days wait period from last termination date,

3X rule(candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
