Aquatech immediately needs a full-time Applications Engineer to work in our Hartland, WI, office. The hours of this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Job Description:
  • Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs.
  • Develop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology.
  • Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance.
  • Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope.
  • Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert.
  • Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives.
  • Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation.
  • Complete engineering activities, including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layout.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude
  • Possess strong mechanical aptitude
