Assembly Technician II – Hillsboro, OR

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $21.73 – $26.00 per hour

As an Assembly Technician II, you will play a critical role in producing high‐quality components through mechanical and electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assemblies and subassemblies with accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct leak testing and standard product testing.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and bench tools safely and effectively.
- Interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, and parts lists.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to maintain strong communication on the production floor.
- Troubleshoot minor issues and ensure all quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‐focused work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–5 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience required.
- Experience in manufacturing or cleanroom environments preferred.
- Helium leak testing, cable/harness assembly, or module/subassembly testing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn new processes.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to use software applications and terminals.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical coursework, AA technical degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently; over 25 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and manual dexterity required.
- Visual acuity necessary for detailed assembly tasks.
- Work performed in a manufacturing and/or cleanroom environment.
- Exposure to noise, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
- Use of PPE required.
