Job description

TRUMPF Laser/Fabrication Technician or Engineer 

Stoughton, WI – Full Time

 

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Stoughton, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be a skilled Technician or Engineer with experience in TRUMPF-based fabrication environments to support advanced manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals who can operate and support laser cutting, bending, and welding systems while contributing to efficient, high-quality production.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

  • Operate and support TRUMPF laser cutting systems, bend cells, and weld cells.
  • Utilize software such as TruTops, Smart Factory, and/or Oseon to support production workflows.
  • Perform machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks, including scheduled cleaning of laser equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with TRUMPF machinery (lasers, bend cells, weld cells).
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to operate and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with TruTops, Smart Factory, Oseon, or similar manufacturing software.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred:

  • Programming experience related to CNC or laser systems.
  • Welding experience.
  • Background in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
