Labcorp is seeking aReference Test Clerkto join our teamin Houston, TX.

Schedule: 3rd Shift, Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00 am - 10:30 am, with rotating holidays/weekends and overtime as needed.

JobResponsibilities:

  • Preparelaboratory specimens for various analysis and testing

  • Research, troubleshoot andresolve customer and specimen problems

  • Send testrequests to proper location andrelease testresults

  • Assist clients with any specimenrelatedrequests or inquiries

  • Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities

  • Provide support to various areas of the laboratory

  • Perform sample sorting, racking andretrieving

  • Preparerecord logs in a timely and efficient manner

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Minimum Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

PreferredQualification:

  • Current or prior Labcorp experience

  • 1 yearor moreofexperiencein amedical/clinical laboratory experience

Additional Job Standards:

  • Comfortability with handling biological specimens

  • Ability to accurately identify specimens

  • Basic computer and data entry skills

  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment

  • Well organized and a high level of attention to detail

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time

  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
