Job description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Install custom cabinetry, including kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, built-ins, and other millwork, according to project specifications and design plans.
  • Ensure all installations meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine proper installation procedures.
  • Measure and mark installation surfaces, ensuring that all cabinetry is level, plumb, and securely fastened.
  • Trim, adjust, and modify cabinetry on-site as needed to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to address any concerns or adjustments during installation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly stored and cared for.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and ensuring their satisfaction with the installation process.
  • Perform final inspections to ensure that all cabinetry is installed to the highest standards and meets customer expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers) as needed to ensure smooth installation.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior installers or apprentices, if applicable

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Proven experience as a cabinetry installer, carpenter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in various environments (e.g., indoors, outdoors).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with custom cabinetry installation.
  • Certification in carpentry or related field.
  • Experience working in high-end residential or commercial construction projects.
