Job description

Hospital in Rice Lake, WI with a 16 bed ED is looking for physician coverage.
This is a full time and ongoing need starting as soon as June in order to fill sporadic shifts. We'll want a provider with flexibility but availability to cover several shifts per month. Temp privileges will be available for someone with a clean file. (Will cross credential/privilege at other locations in the system where help is needed: (Minocqua and Stevens Point)
Shift times:
6:30a-6:00p
6:00p-6:30a
APC on site each day 10a-10p
Acuity of patients: 15%=Resuscitation/Emergent, 50%=Urgent, 35%=Semi-Urgent/Non-Urgent
Yearly patient volume:
Estimated 14000 visits per year
Percent of admissions
9.9% year to date
Percent of transfers
3.9% year to date
ER Provider Code response
ED providers do respond to inpatient codes, generally
ABEM not required for this location.
Prefer locums with monthly availability of 4-6 shifts/month but need flexibility to fill the holes in the schedule.
Single coverage
Provider would have opportunities to float to other TBD locations such as Stevens Point, Park Falls, Eau Claire
