Job description

Salesforce Developer

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer who will be the technical engine for our Salesforce ecosystem. This role demands deep proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC/Aura), APEX, and advanced programmatic development within Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning (FSL). Candidates should also bring expertise in Agentforce / AI-agent frameworks, integration architecture, and delivery of large-scale Salesforce implementations across Sales, Service & Field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deliver robust Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components, Aura components, APEX classes/triggers, utilizing best practices and optimized code for performance and scalability.

  • Lead development efforts in Agentforce (sales/service/field AI agents) and develop integrations to embed intelligent automation into agent and field workflows.

  • Configure and extend Service Cloud features for call center agents, omni-channel routing, case management, and custom automation.

  • Implement Field Service Lightning (FSL) workflows (service territories, work orders, dispatcher console, mobile field app customizations) for emergency roadside operations.

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and platforms via APIs (REST/SOAP), Platform Events, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) and manage data flows across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSL and other systems.

  • Engage with architects and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, document architecture, write technical specifications, and deploy solutions using modern DevOps practices (SFDX, CI/CD).

  • Enforce code quality, security controls, governance standards (sharing/security model, bulk processing, governor limits), and mentor junior developers.

  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices, proactively recommending platform improvements and innovations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise settings, including large-scale multi-cloud implementations.

  • Extensive experience with:

    • Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Aura components

    • APEX programming (classes, triggers, batch/queueable jobs)

    • Salesforce Service Cloud configuration and customization

    • Field Service Lightning implementation (service territories, scheduling/dispatch, mobile field app)

    • Integration frameworks: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture

    • Modern Salesforce DevOps tools (SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines)

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security/sharing model, data modelling, SOQL/SOSL.

  • Proven track record delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions, collaborating across teams, and taking end-to-end ownership of technical delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, Service Cloud Consultant, Field Service Lightning Consultant, Agentforce/Einstein certs.

  • Experience developing and deploying Agentforce or AI-based digital agent solutions.

  • Experience in the insurance, field service or roadside assistance domain.

  • Familiarity with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and third-party system integrations (telemetry, dispatch, repair networks).

  • Strong leadership, mentoring capability, and ability to set technical direction and standards.

Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional problem-solving, debugging and performance-tuning skills in Salesforce contexts (governor limits, bulk processing).

  • Excellent communication, able to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Hands-on, delivery-oriented mindset, comfortable with rapid change and innovation.

  • Commitment to continual learning, especially in advanced/developing areas like AI agents, automation, and large-scale orchestration.
