Claims Manager Personal Injury Law Firm
El Paso, TX | Full-Time | In-Office Position (No Remote Work)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to oversee the handling of personal injury claims from intake through settlement. This position works closely with attorneys, case managers, medical providers, and insurance companies to ensure claims are handled efficiently and strategically to maximize case value.
This is a full-time, in-office leadership role requiring daily collaboration with attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee personal injury claims, including auto accidents, trucking accidents, and premises liability cases
Review case files to evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value
Develop claim strategies with attorneys to maximize recovery for clients
Supervise claims staff, including case managers and legal assistants
Prepare and review demand packages, including medical summaries and billing analysis
Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
Maintain accurate case documentation in the firms case management system
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress and settlement offers
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in personal injury claims handling, insurance adjusting, or pre-litigation case management
Experience negotiating bodily injury claims with insurance companies
Strong knowledge of personal injury claims and settlement processes
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Ability to review medical records and billing documentation
Experience with legal case management software preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred or required
Additional Requirements
Must be eligible to obtain a Notary Public commission in Texas or New Mexico
Ability to notarize settlement agreements, affidavits, and legal documentation
Position requires working in-office. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
