POSITION SUMMARY:

Clay Brook, our premier luxury slope-side residency, is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Our housekeeping team is a critical component of Sugarbush Resort's full-service lodging.The Clay Brook Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, scheduling and supervising the daily workload for the Clay Brook housekeeping staff. This is a full-time year-round position that pays $23-$25/hour depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate daily assignments for Clay Brook housekeeping and Custodial teams.
  • Conduct random and seasonal unit inspections and common area inspections.
  • Conduct unit secures for units not cleaned on day of departure.
  • Coordinate owner services and concerns with the Owner Services Manager, as needed.
  • Maintain tracking systems including, but not limited to, work orders, lost & found, jet tubs, carpets, equipment, seasonal cleans and others as needed.
  • Train new hires on department tasks and procedures.
  • Oversee daily workload maintaining expectations to a consistent standard.
  • Generate the weekly schedule.
  • Coach employees and foster their growth within the department and resort.
  • Oversee daily time in Kronos; allocating hours to the correct department as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous supervisory experience of one year, or more, desired.
  • Good organizational skills are essential; must have the ability to foresee potential problems and make independent decisions.
  • Must be a proactive problem solver and adaptable to changing workloads.
  • Proficient with computers and office technology.
  • Valid Driver's License with proof of automobile liability insurance and an acceptable driving record desired.
