Software Engineer

Full-time professional position at Digital Management’s business office located in McLean, Virginia, with relocation to unanticipated project sites throughout the US expected. 

Duties:

  • Perform software development duties.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to develop software applications using open-source technologies. 
  • Create single-page applications using HTML5, Angular, node.js and java, based on user stories with documented acceptance criteria. 
  • Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Node.js and Loopback framework, Spring boot Framework.  
  • Work with PostgreSQL/MongoDB for database integration.  
  • Troubleshoot issues and create code fixes for open-source products. 
  • Address defects and collaboratively work with functional and technical teams to integrate applications in cloud environments. 
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment consisting of a cross-functional team designing and implementing systems from the web-based user interface front-end through the back end. 

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering combined with 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related software developer position. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.

Special Requirements:

3 years of verifiable experience performing software development duties employing these technological tools: USWDS, Loopback, AWS Secret Manager, AWS Textract, Form builder, Wiz.
