Position Responsibilities: 

  • Manage inventory control processes for the warehouse, including physical counts and logistics, ensuring adequate material and product levels while evaluating needs and implementing strategies to meet them

  • Count and reconcile physical inventory daily, making system adjustments as necessary, including daily cycle counts and full weekly inventory

  • Ensure that product is rotated on a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis, establishing procedures for incoming and outgoing products to ensure proper rotation

  • Maintain accurate records to facilitate shortage detection, prepare reports on inventory analysis and shrinkage, and serve as a key contributor in the area of inventory optimization

  • Independently evaluate data on production needs and inventory to ensure adequate stock in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational needs

  • Prepare and implement logical organization (slotting) of warehouse products to ensure successful operations while working with procurement to improve the total supply chain process

  • Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 6 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience
