Interstate Power Systems is seeking a Diesel Technician-a proven expert in diagnostics and engine repair-to join our Omaha, NE team. This opportunity is designed for top-tier technicians who consistently handle the most complex jobs in the shop and take pride in being the go-to expert when others are stuck.
If you are known for your diagnostic precision, deep knowledge of Diesel engines, and ability to solve problems others can't, this role offers the compensation, respect, and long-term support your skill set deserves.
What You'll Be Trusted With
  • Advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and systems
  • High-level engine and powertrain work involving all makes of Diesel engines and Allison transmissions
  • Troubleshooting aftertreatment, electrical, fuel, cooling, and driveline systems
  • In-frame repairs, major component replacements, and root-cause failure analysis
  • Interpreting OEM diagnostics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service literature
  • Serving as a technical resource for the shop when difficult issues arise
