JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse Manager - NICU

RN MGR - NICU
Full-Time

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the NICU will have the following job responsibilities:

  • You will assist the Director with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the facility.
  • You will assist in coordinating the departments participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
  • You will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • You will provide clinical support to the nursing staff.?
  • You will be responsible assisting, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients in the Womens Services Units.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse Manager - NICU

RN MGR - NICU
Full-Time

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the NICU must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • 2 plus years of experience in NICU required
  • Recent (within the last year) acute care NICU leadership experience required โ€“ Level 3 or 4 required
  • 2 plus years of management or Charge Nurse Experience required
  • BSN required
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required
