Position Overview: As a Commercial Insurance Sales Producer, you will help drive Truck Writers' growth by acquiring new clients and retaining existing business. This role requires a combination of prospecting, relationship management, and negotiation skills to deliver tailored insurance solutions to motor carriers. We are looking for candidates who are available to start in this position fall of 2026.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business by identifying and targeting ideal prospects through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to match coverage with client needs.
  • Create and present detailed insurance quotes to prospects.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business goals.
  • Track client and prospect interactions in our agency management system.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and partners.


Who We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance license preferred, or the ability to obtain within 30 days if not already licensed (paid for by company).
  • Motivated, sociable, and competitive individuals eager to build a successful, long-term sales career.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a sales environment that involves a full sales cycle, preferably in insurance or the trucking industry.
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with clients at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with a team in a professional manner on a daily basis.
  • Strong ability to prioritize.
  • Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure.


Compensation:

  • Year 1: $60,000 base salary + 40% commission (new & renewal business).
  • Year 2: $30,000 base salary + 40% commission (new & renewal business).
  • Year 3 & Beyond: 100% commission on new and renewal business (40% commission).


Employment Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, in office. Full benefits available.
