Job description

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Montana to find a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a collaborative microbiology team.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your microbiology skills with comprehensive on-site training and work alongside experienced laboratory professionals.

Schedule: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE | 8-Hour Day Shift

What You'll Do

  • Plate cultures and perform Gram stains on primary samples
  • Conduct PCR, EIA, and EIA-like testing
  • Read and work up aerobic, anaerobic, and yeast cultures
  • Perform organism identification, including biochemical testing
  • Complete aerobic susceptibility testing for a variety of bodily samples
  • Work independently on a rotating schedule for weekends and holidays after training

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent)
  • National MLT certification
  • Montana Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) license upon hire
  • Previous microbiology experience is not required—comprehensive training is provided
