GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the Roseville area

What you’ll be challenged to do:

This position is responsible for reporting directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor’s work conforms to contract requirements, maintaining project files/documentation, compiling and calculating quantities of work performed to be used in calculating monthly contractor payments, and interacting with clients on a regular basis.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare Daily Reports
  • Prepare Project Progress Reports
  • Monitor Quality Control Testing
  • Measure Quantities
  • Monitor Contractor Progress
  • Assist with Payment Applications and Change Orders
  • Assist with Project Filing System
  • Perform Constructability Reviews
  • Address Technical issues in the field
  • Inspection Team Leader

What you will bring to our firm: 
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Associates Degree or 2+ years of continued higher education preferred
  • Inspection Team Leader (as directed).
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • OSHA Safety Training
  • Good communication skills
  • Must possess a driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position
 
What we prefer you bring: 
  • Preferred BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Preferred Registered Professional Engineer
  • NICET IV Certification Preferred
  • ACI Field Testing Certification Preferred
 
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
