Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Conroe, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Conroe, TX In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, machined components, and purchased items to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and compliance. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting operational excellence across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure parts, raw materials, components, and assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Record inspection data and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Maintain and calibrate measuring tools and instruments.
  • Verify job router paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support packing and shipping processes as needed (limited authority).
  • Assist in vendor selection, evaluation, and audits (limited authority).
  • Participate in the verification of completed Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Perform and maintain equipment calibration and maintenance (full authority).
  • Conduct inspections and limited testing of materials and products.
  • Identify and report non-conforming products and assist in corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), especially Liquid Penetrant.
  • Background in Oil amp; Gas or valve manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Sound judgment and initiative in quality-related decisions.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately.
